Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a newly formed theatre company. From 2014 until her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company. In addition to serving as the SSC's Artistic Directors, Ash-Morgan also held the positions as producer costumes/set designers, composers/music directors and text coaches. In her final year she worked as a director of lighting and design for SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the group, but previous year, she directed her debut.
